The department brings together emergency care, supervised clinical training and work to improve the systems supporting patients and staff.

Our development programme includes staff and community education, resident assessment, clinical research and a transition towards digital workflows.

Supervised practice, teaching, ward rounds and case discussions support ongoing learning.

Developing tools for patient flow, communication, learning and coordination.

Clinical priorities include cancer, trauma, stroke, typhoid and tuberculosis.
